If you have a program on your computer that recognizes the type of file you are downloading (i.e., you are downloading an XLS file, and you have Excel installed), then when you click on a filename and left-click the "Download" button, the file will open in its associated program (i.e., Excel) on your computer. If you don't have a program that recognizes the type of file you are downloading (i.e., you are downloading an XLS file but you don't have Excel installed), then the Windows "File Download" dialog box will open, and you'll be able to save the file to your hard drive. To prevent a file from automatically opening in its associated program (i.e., if you just want to download it and save it on your computer), click on the filename, right-click the "Download" button, click "Save Target As...", and select a location for the file to be saved. Note: If you left-click to download a PDF file and it doesn't display, please try right-clicking the download button, saving it to your hard drive, and then loading it into Acrobat Reader. Alternatively, you may want to disable (uncheck) "Display PDF in browser" in the Internet Settings of Acrobat Reader. File: Midas M32\BG_20210919.scn |
